  • Glucocorticoid-induced TNF receptor (GITR) is a receptor that belongs to the TNF receptor family, like OX-40 and 4-1BB. It is a co-stimulatory receptor that is high expressed on Tregs, but is also found on T-effector cells, NK cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. The ligand for GITR (GITRL) is expressed on antigen-presenting cells.
  • Modulation of the GITR and GITRL results in intratumoral Treg inhibition and on of cytotoxic and memory CD8+ T cells.
